BCA Leadership is a Pan African CEO membership organization, formed with a singular purpose of helping leaders of companies to become better leaders, thus benefiting their organizations and employees.

BCA Leadership is not a social club. It is designed for leaders who are intentional about improving themselves as leaders and improving their organizations. BCA Leadership is registered in the Island of Mauritius as a Global Business License 1 company, and is governed by a Board of Directors that includes shareholder representatives and independent Board Members.

Charity Chanda Lumpa
Board Chair

Ms. Lumpa is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the insurance, banking, tourism and telecommunications industries. Ms. Lumpa has previously held the positions of Managing Director of the then Zambia National Tourism Board, Ecobank Zambia Limited and Airtel Networks Zambia Plc. To her achievements is having successfully set up Ecobank Zambia Limited as a greenfield financial institution in 2008 and became its first Managing Director.

Ms. Lumpa is Board Chairman of one of the top five banks in Zambia, Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco Plc). She is also the Chairman of the St. Ignatius College of the Jesuits and serves as Vice Chairman of the Zambia National Advisory Board for Impact Investment Taskforce and of the Livingstone International University of Tourism Excellence and Business Management Board. She is an investment panelist of the Malawi Innovation Challenge Fund, an innovation and impact focused development fund. Ms. Lumpa serves as a Director on the boards of Prospero Zambia Ltd and Air Namibia. Ms Lumpa also serves as one of the Advisors of the Cavendish University Advisory Board.

She is the Vice President of the Business and Professional Women Zambia Association, Matron of the University of Zambia Business and Economics Association (UnzaBECA), and the Hall of Fame mentor for the Push Women’s Network.

Ms. Lumpa holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Finance), a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration, postgraduate Diplomas in Marketing Management and Technical and Vocational Teaching. Additionally, she is certified under the University of Oxford Women in Leadership Transformation and the Open Doors accreditation for Directors of company boards sponsored by the Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC) of the UK. She is currently studying for her certification as a Professional Coach. She is also an Elder of the UCZ Trinity Church and provides executive training for organizations and individuals.

Board Members​

Mr. Wilben Short
Vice – Chairman

Mr. Wilben Short is a Sierra Leonean who has over thirty-years board level experience in the Consulting, Hospitality, Transport and Event Management industries both in Sierra Leone and the United Kingdom. Mr Short is a partner at CTI Consulting, a leadership coaching and executive training company.

Wilben holds a combined honours degree in Physics and Electronic Engineering from Leeds University and an MBA from Cranfield Business School. He is also a certified trainer by the John Maxwell Institute program “Developing The Leader Within You.”

Catherine Musakali

Member of the Board

Catherine Musakali is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Secretaries of Kenya.

She is the Founder of Dorion Associates LLP, a firm specializing in governance matters and commercial legal consultancies. Prior to founding Dorion Associates, Catherine worked for Kenya Shell Limited (Now Vivo Energy Kenya Limited) as their Company Secretary and Head of Legal for over fifteen (15) years, during which period she managed the Legal Functions of Shell operations in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia. She has worked for shell in the United Kingdom where she specialized in Mergers and Acquisitions and was the Legal Focal Point for all Contracting and Procurement matters for its businesses in the 23 Countries in Africa.

She has served as the Chairman of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK) and also sat on the Council of the Corporate Secretaries International Association, which is a global body bringing together governance professionals. She also consults for the IFC.

Dr. Modupe
Member of the Board

Dr. Modupe S. Taylor-Pearce is a Sierra Leonean scholar and practitioner of leadership and organizational management. His passion for leadership development and education was born out of his experiences as an officer serving in combat in the Sierra Leone Civil War. An alumnus of Capella University (PhD), Cornell University (MEng) and the United States Military Academy (Bsc), Modupe currently serves as the Dean of the African Leadership University School of Business and as the Managing Partner of CTI Consulting, a leadership coaching and executive training company.

Andrina Coker
Member of the Board

Ms Andrina Coker is an accomplished, retired Central Banker with extensive local and international experience. She served as a Monetary Policy consultant for the International Monetary Fund and later was appointed as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Sierra Leone

As a pioneer of professional women, she held executive positions at The Association of University Women and Annie Walsh Old Girls Association. She is a recipient of the Sierra Leone Women in Excellence Golden Jubilee Award and The Republic of Sierra Leone award of Commander of the Order of the Rokel.

She holds a BSc. Hons (Mathematics) from the University of Sierra Leone (Fourah Bay College) and an MPhil (Economics) from the University of Southampton (UK).

Andrina serves as a Board Member and Trustee in various institutions and organisations.

Neel Mohadewo
Member of the Board
Neel Mohadewo holds a BSc (Hons) in Management with Informations Systems from the University of Mauritius.

Highly organized with over 9 years of hands-on experience in providing administrative and clerical support in a high-volume office environment. Primarily striving to understand client needs and provide them exceptional results through cognitively flexible and positive approach. Neel also gained wide experienced in the structuring of SPVs and Investment companies and his assistance has proved invaluable in the closings of cross-border transactions where time is of the essence and he is also very familiar with regulatory matter in Mauritius.

His experience with the Mauritius Offshore Industry dates from 2011 after nearly four years spent in one of the leading management companies. 

Mr. Kevin Bhagmal
Member of the Board
Mr. Bhagmal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Mauritius and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of MANCOSA South Africa.  Mr. Bhagmal has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services and global business sector in Mauritius. He has acquired significant expertise in areas of finance, strategic planning, company structuring, and administration. He serves on the board of various domestic and global business entities. Mr. Bhagmal is also the managing director of FFG (Mauritius) Ltd.
